My garden designs and landscapes have a strong emphasis on geometry but are softened by planting. Although the majority of expense in a garden comes from the hard landscaping, I believe it is only when the garden is planted that it truly comes to life.

Traditional materials sourced in the UK are designed to complement both our local building stone and the landscape. Wherever possible I will source local landscaping materials to reduce transport miles and support local businesses.

Although I hope a client will fall in love with gardening as I take them on the journey to create their outdoor room, I understand the pressures of modern life and will keep maintenance to a minimum by using weed suppressing membranes, irrigation systems and through my planting.
