Treehouse
We have designed and built tree houses and other garden rooms for clients. When a client wants a 'special den' for their children but doesn't have a tree big enough to support a structure we create a tree house on stilts, as in this example.
Examples of show gardens we have built
We have built gardens for Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) shows as well as other shows and won both gold medals and ‘best in show’.
Two of our gardens are highlighted below including our garden at the Sandringham Flower Show 2005.
Greenhouse
A parterre and Alitex greenhouse for two keen gardeners. The central water feature, a cascading copper water tree, adds the element of sound to this sensual garden.
Cottage garden
A modern take on the cottage garden for a walled garden in Lincolnshire. The soft pink and plum colours are echoed in the soft tones of the wall. A painted shed in Farrow & Ball colours creates a feature of the garden room and solves the problem of storage.
Small courtyard garden
Small courtyard garden in Rutland. The brief here was to retain the parking near the house but also to create a seating area where breakfast and lunch could be enjoyed before the sun reached the garden at the rear. The luxuriant planting and the curve of the brick edged paved area softens the whole garden and adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
Dining room
Dining room for a highly sociable couple who like to entertain. Traditional antique furniture and stunning railway curtain poles in oak.
Drawing room
Drawing room in Lincolnshire with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture
Modern bedroom
Modern bedroom using Manuel Canovas fabric and bespoke French bed covered in etoille fabric. The swag is used to soften the window while a blind is used to shut out light at night. Modern watercolours collected on a trip to Italy hang above the bed.
